The Art of Tailoring

The Landskein is an Irish luxury tailoring house founded by designer Anna Guerin, creating contemporary coats and tailoring from exceptional Irish cloth.

At the heart of the collection is a deep respect for the tradition of Irish weaving, reinterpreted through a modern and distinctly understated point of view. Working closely with weavers of provenance, we develop exclusive tweeds in Donegal using exceptional natural fibres, including superfine Merino lambswool, cashmere and silk.

Our fabrics begin the story.

Many are woven exclusively for The Landskein by fifth-generation weavers in County Donegal.  Colour, texture and handle are considered alongside cut and proportion from the very beginning of the design process.

Founder and Creative Director Anna Guerin brings more than two decades of experience in design and tailoring to The Landskein. Her approach is rooted in the architecture of a beautifully cut garment: the line of a shoulder, the balance of a silhouette, the movement of cloth and the quiet precision of its construction.

Each piece is produced in limited numbers and expertly tailored in Europe by specialist makers with whom we have longstanding relationships. From cloth to finished garment, we work closely with the people who make our collections and choose our partners for their knowledge, craftsmanship and integrity.

The Landskein is an expression of Irish textile heritage through a contemporary lens  clothes designed not simply for a season, but to be worn, lived in and kept.
